G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to initially process 4.5mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an excellent track record in responsible mining practices, and clear commitment to compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining activities with the involvement of local communities.

 

To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

 

Deputy Manager IT & Systems (IT 0226)

Responsibilities

  • This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine, reporting directly to the IT & Systems Manager.
  • This position is responsible for the commercial systems and IT Infrastructure across PT Agincourt Resources, including the Martabe Gold Mine and the Jakarta Office. This scope includes;
    • Workforce Management System and ERP - including support, system administration, and user training, across each major module
    • Intranet - Document management and workflow
    • Commercial IT Infrastructure - IP Telephony, LAN, WAN, Servers and Storage
    • Service Desk - Provision of managed, metered end user desktop support within agreed SLAs
    • Asset Management - Tracking, Monitoring and Procurement to Group Standards

Requirements

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Finance or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in IT or Finance, preferably in a mining environment. 5 years experience required with responsibility for IT Infrastructure and Business Systems at a managerial level.
  • Proven track record in the development of technology systems to support a growing mining operation.
  • ERP Administration, Training and Deployment Experience (PRONTO preferred)
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong ability to work independently while being an integral team member
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Microsoft Server and Cisco Network Certifications would be highly regarded

 

Payroll Officer (FIN 0222)

Responsibilities

  • This position will be based in Martabe Site and reports directly to Commercial Manager.
  • Role of this position is responsible to :
  • Prepares, analyse and implements payroll transactions on timely manners.
  • Prepares and or analyse periodic payroll reports, payroll schedules and related journal payroll.
  • Prepares and analyse payroll reports, statements, records, and making recommendations to improve payroll process.
  • Prepares & review the accuracy of related journal payroll and performs account reconciliation & analysis while ensuring supporting documentation is accurate.
  • Monitoring local taxes, Jamsostek, employee benefit contributions, garnishment, and other deduction to ensure the accuracy of individual pay.
  • Prepares audit schedules and assists/coordinate audit of accounting statements and reports.
  • Coordinates payrolls matters with other departments, locations and business unit.
  • Coordinates with payroll systems service provider on issues affecting company payroll.
  • Support other accounting functions i.e. A/P, A/R etc.
  • Prepare and distribute payslip for national employee.
  • Handling complains from employees related Compensation & Benefit payments.

Requirements

Candidate for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree majoring in Accounting/Taxation or Finance Management.
  • Minimum two years experience in Finance or Accounting area.
  • Computer literate and highly proficient in all Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
  • High accuracy in performing arithmetical calculation
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Familiar with manpower regulation.
  • Must have behavioural sensitivity, maturity, diplomacy and tact in addressing complex situations and handling difficult people
  • Strong ethics, professional integrity and able to maintain confidentiality of company data.
